Thanks for your quick reply. I fully understand and appreciate your caution in this matter, and I hope you'll understand mine. I'm not sure how much money we're talking about here, but it sounds like a lot. Should I get some sort of lawyer too, so that I can be sure that I do everything properly? I'd hate to screw up somehow and miss out on this money.

Also, will we need to meet in person at any point during this transaction? I live in eastern USA.
